Multiple modems dial to same phone number

We currently have faxman 3.53 setup in a vb app as an enterprise fax server. A number of our clients have 4 or 8 port digicards. We are running into a problem where the same phone number can be dialing out on seperate ports, which will make one of the faxes fail. Has anyone found a way to work around this?

This is an issue that will be attended to in future versions. Currently, no anticipated inclusion date is available.
If you have retries set to your faxes, the failed faxes will attempt to send again.

Any ideas yet when this will be addressed? We have numerous clients who fax thousands of faxes a day. Most use 4 or 8 port digis and some have multiples digis to keep up with the volume. However, at any given moment, all the ports could be attempting to dial the same number. While the retries can be set to keep trying this, there is a certain percentage of failure that is unavoidable given this scenerio which our customers are finding unacceptable. The multiple retries also delay the original faxes as well as those that have not yet been processed. Seems this would be an issue that would receive a lot of interest...

This is being talked about for FaxMan v4, which hopefully will hit BETA sometime in August. Again, its being talked about, I cannot confirm that this feature will make the cut.
