    No FaxComplete Event

    Hi,

We are using FaxMan 4.6 SDK (.Net Assembly) for one of our faxing solution. At one installation, we have noticed that FaxComplete event is not getting triggered even after the fax is received at the remote end. The FaxFailed event however gets triggered if we give wrong fax number etc.

We verified that the fax entry is made in the Completed Log of FaxMan using the sample application which comes with FaxMan SDK. We also verified that we could send faxes under same environment (modem etc.) using Microsoft Fax Service.

Modem used is: U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT

Please suggest what might be causing this and what is the solution. We have FaxMan and Port logs for this particular error. In The port log, I see a lot of following messages:

00:18:41:0190 Recvd Data during Data TX

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

    00:18:41:0299 Binary discarded

The Faxes are multipage and usually the first page produces events.

    Re: No FaxComplete Event

Can you please send the FaxMan and port logs to us at support@data-tech.com? Also, which FaxMan 4 SDK programming interface are you using - .Net, DLL or ActiveX?

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Re: No FaxComplete Event

    Hi,

We are using .Net API. I have mailed the faxman and port logs to given address. Our client is now very impatient with this and we need a quick resolution. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks,
