Cann't detect modem in a LENOVO E23 Laptop

    Cann't detect modem in a LENOVO E23 Laptop

     I found the FaxMan Jr ActiveX control("C:\Program Files\FaxManJr\Samples\VB6\VB6FaxJr.exe") cann't detect the modem in my lenovo e23 laptop, but the .Net version works.

     Any advice?

    Hi,

    Both those controls share the same modem detection code so its likely the modem was in use by another application when you tried to autodetect it using the ActiveX component.

    yes, I see that. I only ran one of the detection programs, the .net version works, but the activeX version can not!
