It does work under W7? How add license?

Hello, I have SDK 4.04.04. for application taht haveto send fax.

    1. Does this version support Windows 7?

(Every time i recived error message at step FaxMan = new FaxMan(); )

2.I didn`t find any information about license. So, How Do I have to add license?

[add file faxman.lic near *.ddl, or ...  ]

    3. For good work FaxMan, FaxServer have to be insatalled on the same PC,is it true?

And my application must connect with them, and after that Server sends faxes? Yes?

    Or i need onle *.dll

    Thanks

    Hello,

We havent seen any issues with early testing under the WIn 7 Beta. What error are you getting exactly ?

Are you using the ActiveX or .Net component interface ?

Yes, by default FaxMan must be installed on the PC thats doing the faxing. It is possible to build a server type application using FaxMan but you'll need to write the plumbing code to connect the clients and the server running FaxMan. Look in our kBase for anh article on writing this type of app.

    1. we recieved message "not is valid win 32",

and in your documentation was not noted that sdk suports windows 7, in this case we have already desided work under server 2003. It has to resolve our problem.

    2.  Our application by c#, and we use ddl interfase, our application will be as web service.

    Thanks

    Hi

Our docs dont mention Windows 7 since its not shipping yet and our docs were written before the Win 7 beta shipped.

If you are using C# we would recommend using the .Net component interface rather than the DLL interface. Its much easier to use since its a managed interface.
