    What is the correct way in ImageMan.Net Twain to detect that no imaging devices connected?

    Hi,

    If the Twaincontrol sources.Count == 0 then there are no Twain drivers installed.

    Thanks for the quick answer! However my question is what if driver is installed but device is disconnected? Is there any way to check that a source is connected?

    Hello,

    Using TWAIN its not easy to do this consistently across all scanner drivers. You can check the capabilioty called: CAP_DEVICEONLINE but not all drivers implement it properly. Most drivers will generate a MsgBox when we call Enable on the driver and the scanneris off line but not all do.
