Using FaxManJr 1.71 - We have been having problems getting a 16 and 18 error but the fax goes thru. I added a fix to detect a 16/18 condition and consider that fax as good because it did actually get faxed. Without this fix I would have faxed it the second time. I have not been able to recreate this error on our test system. It only happens with a few remote fax systems. (I can't test with those fax systems)
One other problem that we are having is that when the external fax modem is powered off and a fax is sent using FaxManJr, the system thinks that it was good and does not alert the user that there is a modem power problem. This problem may be a result of the above fix.
We are using Fax Class 1.
Can you give me a hint as to how to handle the 16/18 problem?
