    'UnableToTrain' error

    Hi,

We are using FaxMan 4.6 SDK (.Net Assembly) for one of our faxing solution. At one installation, we have noticed that intermittently, FaxMan fails to send a fax and gives 'UnableToTrain' error. This does not happen always, but happens quite frequently, and for same fax number. We also verified that we could send faxes to same number under same environment (modem etc.) using Microsoft Fax Service. Please suggest what might be causing this and what is the solution. We have FaxMan and Port logs for this particular error. In The port log, I see a lot of following messages:

00:11:39:0718 Recvd Data during Data TX

    00:11:39:0827 Binary discarded

    00:11:39:0827 Binary discarded

    00:11:39:0827 Binary discarded

Could this be the problem? Please suggest. Thanks,

    Hello,

What type of modems are you using ?

We have just fixed an issue with some USR modems that could cause this error to occur. If you email us at support@data-tech.com we can send you that test build of 4.6 to try.

    Hi,

     It's a U.S. Robotics 56K FAX EXT V5.4.79 modem.

Hi, the new test build worked for earlier failed cases. Please let me know when can I expect an updated FaxMan release. Thanks,
