I understand that in V 4 the filename is generated by the driver and returned in the PrintComplete event thru the filename property of the PrintJob object.
I have a working testbed program and have installed my custom FaxPrinter.

My questions is, is there any uniqueness to how this file name is generated?

If I have two (or more) systems generating files into the same shared folder will there be any filename conflicts?

Hi,

The name is guaranteed to be unique on the system on which it was created. So if you were to copy fax files form multiple systems into a single dir then there could possibly be a conflict. You can rename the file in the PrintComplete event if you wish top avoid this possible issue.
