I have two sites where trying to print to the FaxMan Jr v2 printer driver on Vista machines fails with Event ID 6161. (Win32 error 5 - Access is denied.)

After looking at other posts on the forum we've tried the following suggestions:

1. Ensuring that the documents folder isn't redirected.

2. Setting the permissions on the spool and system32 folders to give users full control

3. Giving users full control of the file 'fax' in the system32 folder

None of these steps have solved the problem. Any other ideas please?

Any ideas on this? Are there any other files/folders where permissions must be set?

Have you set the  permissions for the directory where the fax files will be written ? It should have read/write/modify. This dir is specified during the printer install btw.
