Can fax long distance, but not locally

Can anyone help me to decipher this log?   I just need to find out why I can fax long distance but not locally. I know the dialing rules are correct because I can hook up a phone and dial the same number as FaxMan is dialing and I reach a modem on the other end.

Re: Can fax long distance, but not locally

I just had some failed long distance faxes as well, so local and long distance may not be the only deviation. One of them was to myself (I work on this romotely).  I sent the fax three times, all three times it errored out, and all three times I got two of three pages.

Re: Can fax long distance, but not locally

OK. It was the wierdest thing.  We replaced the modem with a different type. Replacing the current RASFinder didn't help, so we switched from the MultiTech RASFinder to a Digi Rapidport modem and faxes are working just fine now, both locally and long distance.
