You can try operating the modem at a different fax class but in general we do not recommend VOIP its not considered reliable for faxing. Different codecs used for VOIP and latency can cause reliability problems when faxing.

i've tried to operating the modem with a different fax class, but the problem persist.

Besides, we have do some tests, we sent the same faxes to FaxMan and to Microsoft Fax.

The result is that FaxMan received only General Modem Errors, whereas Microsoft Fax received all the faxes correctly.

So i think that the problem is not the VOIP line, because the Fax machine and Microsoft Fax works fine, but it's due to a FaxMan problem.

Let me know if there is some other way to solve the problem.

Can you please send us a fax debug log of the failed sesion please at support@data-tech.com.

As you noted yourself it was working fine till it was switched to the VOIP  line so I suspect that the VOIP line does probably have something to do with it, with the debug log we can get a better sense of whats happening.
