    "Failed to Open or Initialize the FaxMan database" error

    A user has just received this error when attempting to start FaxMan for the first time.  I assume this is some form of write permission issue in the folder where the faxman files are stored?

    OK, problem solved - as suspected, the user didn't have write permission in the folder where FaxMan had been installed!

    Hi I am also facing same problem and Our Fax gateway  is installed in Windows server .When we click on the .exe icon we are getting same error.

    Could you please tell where we need to give the write permission.

    Hi, FaxMan needs write permissions for the directory where the faxman4.exe is installed.
