Receives illedgable faxes using intel fax card

When sending fax via FaxMan to a pc that has an Intel fax card (rather than an actual fax machine), the file appears illedgable. Any clues?

Are the faxes good if send to another receiver? If the intel fax card receives from another sender, is it good?
Make sure you are sending at high resolution if the fax was created at high res. Once the fax has been sent, check the LogResolution value on the logentry (to insure that the fax actually went at the resolution that you defined, rather than a different resolution negotiated by the devices).
From the sender, try turning flow control on, by the manufacturer's suggested addition to the init string.

    Gordon,
When sending FaxMan faxes to other receivers (not Intel fax card) the faxes are good, additionally, the receiver with the Intel fax card says they receive acceptable faxes from other senders. The resolution is not explicitly set, so I assume FaxMan creates it at standard resolution. I haven't got the client to check the resolution in the log yet. If it's being sent at high resolution what can I do to get it sent at the resolution that the fax was created?

Let's day the issue is that the fax is created at high res and being sent at low res..even if you set the FaxResolution at high, if the receiving device informs the sender that it can only receive at low, Faxman will send at low (there is no way to force the speed of the send, at present).
Another possibility is to define the sender's init string to what is necessary to turn RTS/CTS flow control on. This often helps in distortion problems when there is a low transmission speed.
